He was quite young when he started playing drums and used to perform in his school’s marching and jazz bands.He has worked at Disneyland, Florida.Bob Bryar joined My Chemical Romance in the year 2004, replacing former drummer Matt Pelissier shortly after the release of their 2nd studio album titled Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.While shooting the music video for the song Famous Last Words, Bryar and My Chemical Romance‘s lead vocalist Gerard Way got injured and Bryar suffered third-degree burns on his hands and legs after he caught fire when he was too close to the flames. This resulted in the band canceling their performance at the San Diego Street Scene festival.Rhythm guitarist Frank Iero announced on March 3, 2010, on the official website of My Chemical Romance that Bryar had departed from the band, writing: “As of 4 weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways. This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly.
