However, as it turns out, before it got as bad as it is now, NeNe attempted to reach out to the other Housewife and make peace. Obviously, it did not work out and now, one insider report claims to know the reason why!
The two Real Housewives of Atlanta stars had a massive shouting matching during their cast trip to Greece but before it could escalate that much, there was an attempt to clear things out.
One source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Before RHOA began filming in the spring of 2019, NeNe reached out to Kenya to try to get to a better place before cameras began rolling. NeNe wanted to do her best to clear the air and be cordial since they were going to be working together.’
Fans of the popular reality TV show will remember that the two ladies did not end up on good terms at the end of season 11.
Then, Kenya attended Cynthia Bailey’s party unexpectedly and NeNe was very upset that she wasn’t told her nemesis would be there as well.
Still, she was the one to try and bury the hatchet but the insider told the news outlet that she did not get a response from Kenya, the reason being that Kenya just ‘felt it wasn’t sincere and she wasn’t sure why she would be reaching out.’

As for an update on where they are at now in their relationship, the source mentioned that not much has changed since November when the twelfth season premiered.

‘Things are so bad between NeNe and Kenya now that they haven’t spoken since their blowout fight in Greece. They had to be in the same room at Kandi’s baby shower which is the finale for the show. But they completely avoided one another,’ they went on to note.
